Meeting notes 28th June 2001

Minutes of last meeting
These were agreed as being true & correct.
Lottery application
Once accounts have been audited Liz Clarke will complete for submission. Corrine from Phoenix to audit accounts
Club School Link
Club School Link was a success and thanks to Liz for organising it. Letter to be sent to all whom helped out to thank them by Ian.
Teachers pack to be given to schools who were involved and in readiness of National Youth Day.
Summer Tournament
Juniors will need supervising. Chrissie may be around to help if not playing. Lia and Lee will go to St. Matthews to see if they will bring a team along. Liv will do the same with Colville school. These schools should be allowed free entry to the tournament to attract them.
Summer Training
Last Junior training is on 16th July. This should be continued over the summer it was decided to keep the impetus going from the Club School Link. It was decided that perhaps one club should take a week in turn to do the training with perhaps a more consistent face too.
Liz Clark to get training tips from Debbie Etheridge for dealing with Juniors as most Cambridge coaches are used to training adults.
Big Day Out
This will not be going ahead now unless Dave Bate would like to run the event. To be discussed at next CKA meeting.
AOB
Public Liability insurance now sorted out so we can go ahead with demo in Grafton Centre.
